The Annual Wobble

With temperatures falling below -15 ℃  (Without the wind chill) one is not surprised that many New Year celebrations were cancelled outside.

Those, who didn't go to bed early, stayed up to toast the New Year and, as they waited, wondered why some people where playing golf at this time last year ... such was the unusual warmth.

Many, including The Donald, mentioned the ubiquitous Global Warming, but I have another theory.

Everyone knows that the Earth wobbles on its axis, and this is the reason for long night hours which prove useful in hiding Father Xmas' implausible non-winged sleigh in the sky.  But it's also the reason for the cold weather this year and warm again next year.  Quite simply because of the wobble's non-365 day programme.

I know for certain that there is a more pronounced wobble this year ... because I keep falling over.

What other reason could there be?

  1. Lots of laughs Bernie.
    There two possible reasons why you wobble;
    1- The axis has shifted under the weight of North Korean missiles pointing at the Donald.
    2- Alcohol
    Happy 2018, may we all survive it.

  3. The Ojibwa First Nations have a story to explain the shift in the earth's axis and the Northern Lights. Go to;
